Welcome to the October Newsletter and Autumn is well and truly here. Surfing wise it's whimpered in with what has been a largely disappointing September, however the forecast for October is already looking much more promising. Over the last few months we've been slowly making improvements to the online store. As well as an all round upgrade we've also added a 'live chat' feature; where you can ask us questions whilst in the store. Another part of our site we're improving is how it looks on Smart Phones and Iphones, so you can access our store from anywhere with any device.

Earlier in September we had a Demo Board day at New Polzeath; which we'll be doing again some time in the future. Don't forget though if you do want to demo a board then you can drop in and see us at any time. One of the boards that got some great feedback was the 'Fat Cat', our latest board in the short wide range. This board comes in at 21" wide on the 5'6", so it has a lot of planing area and with the single to double concave has heaps of drive. The moderate flat rocker line on this board means it just flies over the slack sections and with a curvy outline the board turns off the bottom and top of the wave. Now the summer has passed and Autumn is in full swing; many of us surfers will be looking at the possiblity of some waves in warmer climates. We've got a whole heap of new Boardbags and Surfboard Socks in stock. So don't forget to protect your stick.

Charlie, who normally sits at the desk here answering queries has snuck off to France for a few weeks. Where the Quiksilver Pro starts in a few days, I thought I'd share this pic underneath that he posted up on Facebook yesterday. If you weren't thinking about a trip somewhere; then you probably are now!
