If you're not familiar with 'The Link' here's what its all about.
'St Minver Link is a not-for-profit independent community magazine produced by volunteers with a normal circulation of around 650 copies rising to about 900 during the holiday season.
First published in 1981, it covers the east side of the Camel estuary from Wadebridge northwards including Wadebridge, St Minver, Polzeath, Rock, Trebetherick, Tredrizzick and surrounding areas. It is supported by over 70 advertisers from tiny one-man businesses to larger organisations and as such is a useful aid in locating local services. A typical issue comprises between 72 and 80 A5 pages with many in high quality colour.
Editorial content is varied but focuses on local issues present and past and also provides local people with a means of publishing their memories, poems, stories and photographs. All income over that needed to print the magazine is given to local good causes.'
Issue 178 for May and June is still in the local shops here.
