The Camel Trail - a great day out

E-mail Print PDF

Over the last few years since having kids ' The Camel Trail ' is and activity we've done a couple of times at least annually.  It's a great low cost day that everyone enjoys.  This year the kids are 2 and 4 which meant the oldest is now able to cycle in tandem and the youngest progressed to sitting on the back of the bike, which she loved.

Awesome views and Great Excercise

If your not familiar with it the Wadebridge to Padstow leg of The Camel Trail is 5 miles long, if you're not the best cyclist ever do not worry as it's all completely flat.  And the truely awesome views will keep you going.  It's also fairly shielded from most wind directions, so if it's really windy on Polzeath Beach you'll often find that its not to bad on the Camel Trail.

There's a new Fanpage for you to join for Daily updates, photos and videos - so be sure to like it www.facebook.com/thecameltrail .

Here's some pictures I took this thursday.   Low tide but so is high tide so you can't go to far wrong.

If you're starting off at Wadebridge why now check Camel Trail Cycle Hire for bike.

Have you been on the Camel Trail  -  How did you find it?
